Bob Kowalczyk started this company in 1998 with one truck and a simple idea: people around here deserve dependable electrical work at a price they were told up front. That is still how we run it. No subcontractors, no call center, no surprises on the invoice.
Our electricians are licensed and background checked, and they stay current on the National Electrical Code. We show up on time in a marked truck, we pull the permits the job needs, and we clean up before we leave your property. No job is too big or too small.

Yes. Bob's Budget Electric is a fully licensed, bonded and insured electrical contractor. Our state contractor license number is EC-0041872, and a certificate of insurance is available on request for any commercial customer or property manager who needs one on file.

All the time. A lot of the housing stock in Millhaven, Crestford and Lake Pines went up well before modern electrical codes, and our electricians work regularly with knob and tube wiring, aluminum branch circuits, fuse panels and the other things that turn up in older properties.
Yes, for every jurisdiction we serve, and we coordinate the inspections with the local building department ourselves. Permit fees are billed separately at cost and show up as their own line on your invoice.
